LA City 1 day tour 30 June

Starts early for this one day tour, no lesson class for the students :)
Picked up by bus at 9.

First destination was Staples Center we then continued to Westin Bonaventure, around disney hall then lunch time after that in hhhmmmm i forgot what its called.

90210 (where we had 1 student missin) was next after Dodgers stadium and hollywood (where some students lost and late :P) before we had our last stop for dinner and souvenir shopping in the groove where i found the 'for sale husband', 'for sale wife' shirts for my bros and mate and also shirt for me 'i drink beer only in days that ends with Y' :P

Was great short 1 day LA city tour, would say that 1 day is not really enough to see the whole huge city... Enough 1 day picture time though :P

Picnic at Cypress park with Camarillo people 29 June 2008

Had a gathering with students and host family in the park, had some ice cream there... yummy...

First Weekend... Ladies Day..Malibu and around 28 June 08

Our host family have a visit from her room mate like 20years ago, thanks to google? for that.. 

We had a long chit chat after breakfast, Saturday morning, getting to know each othere :) we then go out after that. Sharon took us to around Malibu. Otw there we stopped in Paramount movie ranch? Its between Malibu & San Fernando valley before we had a going around window shopping around Malibu and had Mexican lunch.

Otw back after lunch, we stopped in Neptune’s Net (heard that its too fast too furious movie filming location) This is one of places that Sharon always want to visit, and finally she did it with us and im very glad that we did. Tried local beer Anita had there, was good. This place like a bikers stops, big bikes parked there stop for beer and food and across that place is beach for surfing.

We went back home after Neptune’s Net, we stopped by the beach that I totally forget the name and where it was, I only remember we took different way otw home.

Arriving home Treeza & I (mostly Treeza actually :P) cook Indonesian food, chicken soto for dinner. Indonesian dinner in our first weekend, Sharon and Anita loved it, thanks Treeza for the great idea. Got to know each other more after dinner with wine and beer :P, sharing culture diference, love life (detail not for public consumption :P)

Was perfect relaxing ladies day…. Thank you for the great time ladies… :)

The St. Patrick 27 & Picnic at Conejo Creek North park June 08

Arrived in Thousand Oaks on 24 June, stay with Sharon, our host family, with Treeza in Moorpark. Loved staying there,... lovely towns, beautiful view rows of mountains around you... :) Amazing host family.. thanks again Sharon... :)

Most of the pics taken in St. Patrick school, thousand oaks, and some in the Conejo Creek North park, where we have welcoming party with all the students (Indonesia, France, Russia and Norway) and all the host family..

Welcome to California, Thousand Oaks 24 June 08

Finally after the longest flight i've ever had, arrived in LA airport....
Jkt - KL 2hrs (1hr transit and change flight)
KL - Taipei 4hrs (1hr transit and break... :))
Taipei - LA 16hrs non stop
Watched 4 movies in the plane to kill my bored after sleep and sleep and eat :P :) Watched : Definitely Maybe, 27 Dresses, Charlie Barlett? i forgot the other one oeps.. :)

The photos taken on the way to Thousand Oaks, the course town, around 1hr drive. Arrived there, picked up by our wonderful host families... :) Here comes the jetlag... got a bit dizzy, but gone after some pizza :)

Here's the start of my mix of holidays, traveling, part of part time job (to whom it may concern : sssssstttttt... dont tell my boss please.... =))

OOT : Choices.. choosing... bit confusing....

Choosing… choices.. bit confusing…

 

That’s life ey?? Its all about choosing, even when u just wake, u chose to wake up and go work OR to stay sleeping and call sick :P

Then u chose what clothes to wear then u chose to take ojek or bus? And so on and so on.

 

Have a decision to make tomorrow, its bit confusing yet im sooooo thankful that I got this choices, thankful that I got this chance to choose, chance to go somewhere I’ve never been to…

Not about right or wrong choices… I guess, more about coloring ur life… ?

 

Well, anyway I know which one I want though :P

I wanna chose this cuz I don’t know if there will be same chance in the future but just not sure yet if it’s the best one to choose with all the circumstances. Hopefully everything will run smooth for the choice I wanna make…
